Canada investing in telecommunications in preparation for the G7 Summit

As part of the preparations for the G7 Summit that will take place in Charlevoix in June, the Honourable Jean‑Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, along with Richard Hébert, MP for Lac-Saint-Jean, announced today that the Government of Canada is investing close to $15 million to bolster the cellular telecommunications infrastructure in the areas around the G7 Summit site.

An office in Charlevoix for the 2018 G7 Summit

Today, the Government of Canada announced the official opening of a local office in La Malbaie for the upcoming G7 Summit that Canada will be hosting from June 8-9, 2018.
